Happy Birthday Friend

Hey I'm back just like I said. Now today is my DT creation for the new challenge for
Magnolia-licious & Wee stamp blog. The theme is Luscious Lace.

I created a bday card for my DD Best friend. This girl is no girly girl TRUST ME lol! Loves sports and is there a name for a female jock? Well she's one of them :) Actually that is why she gets along with mine because she is just the same lol!
Anyways I just had to push the soft pink and TRY to soften it up for her ha ha ha!
she couldn't stop telling me thank you so I hope she liked it a little lol!

Oh yeah lots of fine sparkly glitter all over the card and to the image to top it off.
Some soft pinks, peach, light grey and white for the color palette. I had Birthday Tilda colored in black and white with only pink cheeks but then someone got carried away with her pink and started adding it more to the image O_O

Birthday Tilda is available in Mini HERE but you want to email Diana and see if regular size would be coming in.

The inside was a simple envelope for pictures, notes etc...

here is a final picture without the tag and a better view of the lace.
Ok that's it and I hope you like my card today. Any questions or coloring request please feel free to shout it out.
I'm currently about to start more CHA projects for this summer so I'm a bit tied up with that. So any other images that are non related to my DT's have to wait for a bit... just a bit :)  I do have some images colored that artist have emailed me to color just for fun. Sadly when my family got sick for like a whole month it was a set back on many of my DT responsibilities, Importantly my mommy priorities and my hobby. I apologize but don't worry, It will get done... late but it will get done lol!

Ok well I'll be back tomorrow for a Little Darlings posting FINALLY LOL! I kinda skipped last month by accident lol!
 Cya here tomorrow, Ruby

Fighting For The Cure!!

Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking your time to come and see what I'm up to these days.

Today is a very special Hop for the Magnolia-licious DT .

I am very excited to get you started and off on your way to the next designer. Now first If you are coming from my lovely friend Mary's blog then your right were we want you at :)

The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women!  We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!!  To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in.  Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images.  You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious <HERE>   So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

I had a blast creating this set and the stories behind the scenes that came with them is unforgettable!!!

I baked pink cupcakes and topped with my "special pink whoop cream". Don't ask me why my kids and myself have pink teeth. It was an ugly mess but I would do it again for sure lol!

Onto the deets of the project.
I colored this time with my DI and I am featuring Tilda with Pink Rose and Boxing Tilda. You could find them available at the Magnolia-licious store NOW!
I have a few Magnolia Doohickey Dies going like my Swirly Butterly and Dream Tag.

Everything is so sparkly specially when I used this all glitter pink paper. So it's more than the usual :)

Here is my Card with Boxing Tilda.....you likes? Uhhh I had to color in a pink ribbon on her shirt. Her shorts are paper pieced with that pink glitter paper I had mentioned.

That's it for now but before I send you to my other gorgeous friend Janiel.

Tilda wants to share a few details explaining what this is all about.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.  The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease.  We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease.   Want to find out more?  The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!
  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day

Ok that's all from me and thank you for your sweet wonderful comments. Take it away Janiel :)
