Hello January

Hello, Welcome back to my blog and It's been a busy winter. You know how that goes and then we have CHA behind the scenes. It's a busy season but I'm glad we're past that and now I could catch up with art that I need to send out ASAP.

My first post of the year 

 I'm playing with Saturated Canary Rubber stamp Play Time, Polkadoodles Time for Tea 6x6 paper pack and some fun LDRS dies.

I really adore my character images and wanted to color this cute little girl and decided to do a little something like Valentine's theme. I almost did use her for a Christmas card theme as you could see the versatility of this image. I colored her with Copic markers and pencils on kraft paper.

At the bottom of my card added a simple clean word Hello cut form TLC Expressions

and added some pearl droplets in the center flowers.

I did a little layering with Creative Basics, Grace Build -A-Card Die kit using the different size hearts and cute little button cut.

My Design paper is nothing but lush pretty design and colors from the

Polkadoodles Time for Tea 6x6 Paper pack.

I am really loving the CAS cards these days. Also, these sentiment words cuts make the card processing so much faster.

I Can't Reach Christmas Cheer For All

Told ya I'll be back! Ok so today it's a Christmas cheer coloring. I did it I did a CAS card. Is it a CAS card? I tried so hard so it better be lol!
Do you know how hard it is not to keep adding embellishments??? Dude it's hard!!! LOL!

So easy peasy lemon squeezy coloring was a center focus. 

I used Copics but OF COURSE. My copic combo is down below.

This is, I can't Reach  by CandiBean Rubber Stamp. 

I had a little extra fun color placing the fir in the tree. I've been doing this technique for years now and I was working on a tutorial actually due to popular request. Well what had happened was..... it's sitting in my draft folder lol! I mean this had to be like 5 years ago lol!

Maybe if I could squeeze in extra coloring I could finish it before December.  I have so much coloring at the moment but than you have those images that you really want to color for extra fun and if I don't I'll just burst!

Simple embellishments. 

My 10 yo daughter is like, mom  what's zup with the boring card?

I chased her all over the house cuz she ran right after she said that.

They're not use to my " CAS cards" :)

This is my play with hair.... my MIC girl had lots of hair for me to play with.

I'm showcasing Lucky Tara today in which she's from the latest MIC addition , 

Meadow Girls Collection. 

Do you notice my card no flowers!!!!!! This is rare for me not to add flowers to my cards but I felt she didn't need since the image itself was busy with pretty clovers and so I just sat her on a card with a perfect sentiment.
