Farewell Oprah Winfrey and ABC Challenge :(

What a day and how to start my waffling sigh.....

Okay let's start by letting you know it's time for a new challenge at

ABC challenge.For this week is the letter U for unusual fold.So let's see those unusual fold creations:)

I created a Gatefold card because I needed lots of extra room to decorate LOL!Now for the sad news ...........

With much sadness I have to inform you I have decided to step down from ABC Challenge.I am truly so sad but with my kids coming out of school very soon.I know it's going to be hard to squeeze cards in during the summer.I hope they will consider inviting me back as a guest later ((smiling to Vicky))

Now brings me to another reason why I created a card with Farewell Tilda.As many of you know Oprah Winfrey is leaving her show after so many many years.If you're a avid follower you'll know i'm an loyal Oprah fan LOL!!!

It's always on my top list of things too know about me when i get those blog awards :)

Anyways her final taping of her show was going to here in Chicago!!!

I'M IN CHICAGO and I thought maybe just maybe I'll get lucky with some tickets.OHHHH,I was a nervous wreck when I registered to try my luck. After a couple of days later I got an email from them.I was not picked......I was so sad and even my MIC teammies were hearing my sniffs.I was just heart broken and getting a smile from me that day was a challenge.

My teammies immediately came to my comfort and gave me loads of ideas to try getting tickets another way.They gave me hope not to give up so easy.By making her a card and letting her know how badly I want to be there.Of course thank her for all she has done for us here in Chicago lol!

I don't even care if they give or not give stuff out but just to have had the chance to be part of The Oprah Winfrey last show is just a wow!!!!!!!!!

Well guess what the taping was yesterday so I didn't get my card out on time to even try my luck :(

sigh........I went by my regular life cooking for my kids,doing errands and creating cards with this big KNOT on my throat.Here and there my eyes would get all teary but I'll be ok :(

With a little time I'm sure I'll survive.

I still have to mail out my card because It was made for her.I just don't know how to go about it???

You open it and close from the side.On the front panel i'm featuring Farewell Tilda.My sentiment says, know how special you are and how much you are loved.I followed the sketch from Suzanne Dean at Magnolia-licious Highlities challenge.

This is the inside featuring a more brighter happier scene.So basically we want Oprah to leave with Happy tears and everything will still be alright for whatever task she takes on.
The side panels are left for my writing and I also wanted to add either a poem she likes or a quote she likes to recite.Don't know what to pick yet.

Can I ask you what's been your ultimate favorite Oprah episode lol!? I have to say mine was when they went to AUSTRALIA!!!!! I got to see where my Aussie friends live teheee!!!! GORGEOUS PLACE!!! So many dreams come true that day :)

Hello every one i came in very quickly to share my latest card with Stamp with fun.This week we have a sketch going this time and boy it was a challenge for me.I almost covered the whole card with my image LOL!!! Anyways i hope you have a brief moment to stop by and visit the rest of the team and their translation on the sketch they did a wonderful job!!! For my blogging friends i have sad news i have no computer at the moment that's why i haven't been visiting anybody.My email account is so full :( My battery to my laptop finally had it so i guess I'm in the hunt of a new one.Until then i have to visit my sister once again to upload my cards for my DT's.I hope i get this fix STAT because i can't live without my Internet yet alone my LAPTOP LOL!!!!So please don't think i have abandoned you. I just don't have a way to get to you at this moment SIGH...... I promise I'll catch up once i get my own computer again.

I did the whole Suzanne Dean coloring on her face E00,E11,E13,W9,R20
Dress and hair E09,E15 and a hint of YR14
front of dress,socks and shirt E13,E11,E51 and EOO
Shoes and grass i'm sorry i completely forgot but i promise i'll keep a note next time i do grass.
the clouds were done with a scalloped circle and edge all around with blue chalk.I found a tutorial at whiff of joy inspiration blog.
