Hello everyone!

What a day and how to start my waffling sigh.....

If your here for the Little Darlings blog hop go HERE or just go to my previous post :)

Okay let's start by letting you know it's time for a new challenge at

ABC challenge.For this week is the letter U for unusual fold.So let's see those unusual fold creations:)

I created a Gatefold card because I needed lots of extra room to decorate LOL!Now for the sad news ...........

With much sadness I have to inform you I have decided to step down from ABC Challenge.I am truly so sad but with my kids coming out of school very soon.I know it's going to be hard to squeeze cards in during the summer.I hope they will consider inviting me back as a guest later ((smiling to Vicky))

Now brings me to another reason why I created a card with Farewell Tilda.As many of you know Oprah Winfrey is leaving her show after so many many years.If you're a avid follower you'll know i'm an loyal Oprah fan LOL!!!

It's always on my top list of things too know about me when i get those blog awards :)

Anyways her final taping of her show was going to here in Chicago!!!

I'M IN CHICAGO and I thought maybe just maybe I'll get lucky with some tickets.OHHHH,I was a nervous wreck when I registered to try my luck. After a couple of days later I got an email from them.I was not picked......I was so sad and even my MIC teammies were hearing my sniffs.I was just heart broken and getting a smile from me that day was a challenge.

My teammies immediately came to my comfort and gave me loads of ideas to try getting tickets another way.They gave me hope not to give up so easy.By making her a card and letting her know how badly I want to be there.Of course thank her for all she has done for us here in Chicago lol!

I don't even care if they give or not give stuff out but just to have had the chance to be part of The Oprah Winfrey last show is just a wow!!!!!!!!!

Well guess what the taping was yesterday so I didn't get my card out on time to even try my luck :(

sigh........I went by my regular life cooking for my kids,doing errands and creating cards with this big KNOT on my throat.Here and there my eyes would get all teary but I'll be ok :(

With a little time I'm sure I'll survive.

I still have to mail out my card because It was made for her.I just don't know how to go about it???

You open it and close from the side.On the front panel i'm featuring Farewell Tilda.My sentiment says, know how special you are and how much you are loved.I followed the sketch from Suzanne Dean at Magnolia-licious Highlities challenge.

This is the inside featuring a more brighter happier scene.So basically we want Oprah to leave with Happy tears and everything will still be alright for whatever task she takes on.
The side panels are left for my writing and I also wanted to add either a poem she likes or a quote she likes to recite.Don't know what to pick yet.

Can I ask you what's been your ultimate favorite Oprah episode lol!? I have to say mine was when they went to AUSTRALIA!!!!! I got to see where my Aussie friends live teheee!!!! GORGEOUS PLACE!!! So many dreams come true that day :)

Good Morning and happy Wednesday!

Today It's another challenge at ABC Challenge and this time we want you to do T is for.....TWO IMAGES on your creations please :)

As i menchant before I've been super busy Spring Cleaning and I'm just about done.The thing is, I now have a terrible cough :( I guess because all of the dust and crazy weather here. Feeling yucky right now but i'm ok to come out and play.Since my timing is slim lately I've been using images that I colored for over a couple of days or a few months ago , lol!!

Geeky Love from Make it Crafty is one of them. I knew I was going to do a card with them soon, so good timing.

They were colored with copics and shaded with my warm Letrasets.

I wanted her to be blusing so I gave her extra pink tones on her face :)

Good morning friends!!

I mounted my heart chipboard laser cut from MIC on the corner of my card.Everything was colored with copics.Short post today.I have tons of work ahead of me so i better get going.

ABC Challenge P is for......

Happy Wednesday I'm back not feeling so well.My migraines come and go but lately they been very strong.On Monday it was BAD REALLY BAD!!! I took so much meds but they weren't cutting it .I almost did go to he hospital because i couldn't take it any longer!!! My Lauren just kept going up to me to hug me and just starring at me because,yes i was tearing lol! My poor baby just kept starring and one time she said to me,"I feel so bad for you mom". The look she gave me was so heart warming and she was certainly concerned about me.My husband wasn't home so i was alone with the kids so that wasn't much help.I always have had migraine problems and they pretty much run in my family.My little sister told me she just got over a 6 day migraine marathon!!! I think I'm on my 4Th day today.I feel OK but just like light headed and tired.I worry though because my Lauren and my son Orlando have migraines too!!! I might have to bring this up on our next Dr.visit for them.

Sad news for my oldest daughter.I forgot to tell you that my daughter tried out for her school soccer team. Well the first day in try outs she got pulled out from the freshman team since she is a freshman. The coaches noticed she had a talent with the ball and placed her in the VARSITY team.The only freshman in the varsity team can you imagine lol!

((♫♪♪WHISTLING♪♪♫)) Ahem!! I wonder where she got that talent from lmbo!!!!!

Krystalyn has only played when she was a kiddo and stopped when she was @3 or 4yrs old.I guess the touch stood with her.Well anyways where i was going.Well i told you all I had to go to the DR. and the visit was for her.For over 2yrs she has been going back and forth to therapy and consults because of her knee.Keep in mind she had surgery on the right knee before for the same pain.After so much therapy and Medications with no good results.It has been decided that she needs to go through surgery again on her left knee this time :( That means soccer is out and she is just heart broken.Her knee just pops every time she takes a step and the popping is painful.The MRI's always come back normal so her specialist said it's time to try the surgery.I will probably be away from blog land for a while. Might come and post my cards but won't be visiting much.Will see how it goes and keeping fingers cross for a good result sigh....

Going to my card :) It's time for ABC challenge and the theme today is P for pearls.Our sponsor this week is Whiff of joy so you better get coloring because you know the prize is GOOOOOOD LOL!

My card will be going to a little girl named Haeli.I wanted to help spread the word and i beg you PLEASE help out.If anything at least spread the word i'm sure it will be a good outcome either way.

Heili is a little girl with ovarian cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.You could read the complete story at Pixie Cottage.I have no idea how i got there but I'm glad I did.

My husband lost his little brother to cancer in 1996. While my husband was mourning his brother i went into labor with my first child.The day his brother Orlando got buried my daughter Krystalyn was born.It was a very sad and yet happy day for the hubby.The crazy thing is the very next day from my daughter's birth.Orlando would of been 12yo just like Heili.(My son was named after him)Brings tears in my eyes to think another child has to go through this painful and ugly disease.I keep picturing his face in pain when it was time for his meds.Take a minute and read the story and hopefully you find it in your heart to help out.

ABC CHALLENGE O is for.....

Morning peeps! Well it's time for another challenge at , ABC CHALLENGE.

Well the letter this time is for O for OVAL!!!!!! Now how easy peacy is that! So no excuses it's time to play with us lol! I decided to do a gift set and alter a candle.The candle was just siting there alone looking at me.Ok i was planning to redo the pictures because some came out blurry but when i woke up this morning.I realised my hubby took the set to work because i think his boss wanted to give a small gift to his GF. So i didn't have a chance to retake :(

Sorry for the blurry pictures and poor quality on the color.Brace yourself i took many pictures lol!!!!

Oh btw i sprayed the whole card and candle with Tattered Angels Irisdescent Gold. I used Tilda with Big Ribbon that i got a Diana's store,"Magnolia-licious".

NOW!!!!!!!! I wanted to share with you what my 2yo was doing while i was doing this set! I thought she was working on a project.I saw she had a coloring book,crayons,glue stick and kid scissors.I saw her sitting down with her back towards me.It looked like she was really in concentration mode.I got up and went in my room to watch something and my 5yo ,Lauren YELLS! ,"Mom sophie is cutting her hair"!! I didn't jump up because my dd is known to jump into things lol!


Well then she went to the room with a hand full of hair.I jumped up to go check on the after math. I must be very intimidating i heard her tell her older sister ,"she's going to get me"!! and literrally threw herself under my son's bed!!! I have to admit i laughed when i heard her say that.I have never heard her say those words in a complete sentence lol! I pulled her out and the front of her hair was chopped in layers.I wanted to laugh,cry and the look on her face.I knew she was sorry lol!!!!! I had to hide every single pair of scissors in the house.EVEN MINE!! SIGH...... I guess she gave herself her first hair cut.Oh yeah through out the day i kept finding more strands of hair hidding in corners of the house.I think she hid and chopped some off and went to another corner.((shaking head))

By far my 2yo has broken the record with mischievious stories of them all.The worst is at the end of the day she is sleeping next to me .Oh sweet talking and kissing me.That little girl is SOMETHING ELSE LOL!!!!!!!!Thanks for reading and hearing me vent lol!! I tend to do that now and then:)

OH OH one more thing i promise is short....

ABC Challenge N IS FOR ........

Good morning friends,I have a new card that i almost forgot to post! I was going through my emails and bumped into a teammies email and realised it was Wednesday! I guess I'm all loopy because of the meds i'm taking.Yes something else is wrong with me grrrrr! Not only me ALL the kids have a cough and fever.I had it the worst yesterday but today it's my baby girl.My teenager is staying home today because she sprained her ankle in gym.So not much she can do to help me.

Any hoo it's time for a new theme at ABC Challenge and this time were doing N for neutral.LOL!!!!!!! Beeing the artist that i am baaahaaa (thank you, Make it colourful team)
I couldn't leave her wings plain.I just had to add her feathering free hand.Oh and i tried my teammie Annika's cloud technique (Thinking of you Annika).I say i need to practice more but i'm happy with the result.Even though the clouding got covered just a bit.

That's it for now I'll be back Saturday with something new ( i hope)!

ABC CHALLENGE L IS FOR..... To A Nice Friend

Happy Wednesday everyone! Well here i am again with a special card for the new Challenge at ABC Challenge.The theme for this fortnight is LACE :)

OK I HAVE NEWS well not really news but if you haven't noticed yet.Maybe you did but just FYI your, Ruby is growing up LOL!!! Ok i wish i will keep growing but at my age is not gonna happen any hoo ha ha. Do you notice something different on my card???!!! I have ATTEMPTED too sew BAAAHAAAA! Thank goodness for embellishments to hide my crooked lines lol!!! This was my first attempt EVER and it was like a roller coaster ride.I need to thank my friends , Barb and Patricia for the tips otherwise i would of been so lost.I need more practice that i know for sure. I just hope a nice friend of mine don't mind having my first sewing attempt card ha ha ha. My corner swirls are from, Make it Crafty and words can't describe how gorgeous they are up close.The detail is just devine and adds so much elegance to your cards.I tapped them with some Dew Drop(moonlight white) and added a hint of stardust.It sparkles so pretty you just can't see it on this picture. I also colored my Tilda with tulle skirt and my heart on , Make it Crafty paper. I am getting so hooked on this paper!!! ((((SHOUTING)) Zoe i might need some more lol!!!! :)

ABC Challenge K is for.....Merry Christmas To All :)

Happy Wednesday everybody!! I know i know were all very very busy but if you happen to have time during these festive days you could join us atABC Challenge.It was such a challenge for me since we are doing K ... keeping it simple.Ok i did the best i could lol! Only one layer of DP come on YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME CREDIT LOL!!! So for this fortnight is pretty good for those last minute creations. I want to wish everybody a safe ,"Happy Holidays".Those that celebrate Christmas,"Merry Christmas". OH IT'S crunch time now lol! I need to go buy more things still sigh......!!!!!!!!!!

Another thing i wanted to share with you in case you didn't realise lol!! I AM OFFICIALLY A COLOR ADDICT!!!!! Yup sure am lol!
