I did a light take on my pallet this time around. A card with a candle using Mini Tilda with her Bunny from 2011 Butterfly Dreams Collection and regular size Floral Background.

Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the inside but I'll add it on later. Which reminds me I need to add a picture of the last Magnolia card which I will do now. I'm not so use to taking pictures of the inside so I forget :)

The project I have for you today is an Easter basket with a card. I guess I could of done something else to change it up but she's holding a bag/basket of eggs. I might as well do a basket to go with the image right lol! I water colored my image with background with Distress Inks. This card has layer upon layer of paper, embellishments etc.. it's going a long way from me and needs to get there in mint condition :)

I filled my basket with these fun to create honeycomb eggs. I really like the bright fuchsia color, makes the basket stand out more.

Someone's thinking of Coffee

Good Morning all!! 

I'm back and today is my turn to share on the LD Inspiration blog.

  Ok so it's no surprise that I'm a big fan of coffee. I get very cheery cheesy when I see a character image holding a cuppa of chocolate or coffee awhhhh, lol!

Makes me smile all the time I see one.So because of the Inspiration of hot coffee. I decided to do another gift set and this time I used Saturated Canary Rubber stamp, "Cocoa"

I love to use the actual rubber stamps when I'm water coloring. I used DI to color my images this time. around.

I thought when you drink your coffee you always want to sit down and read ( at least that's what I tend to) so I thought might as well create a bookmark/Tag to go with.

here is my cup sleeve and BTW I used Little Darlings Caladium DP collection to alter the sleeve and tag.

Fighting For The Cure!!

Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking your time to come and see what I'm up to these days.

Today is a very special Hop for the Magnolia-licious DT .

I am very excited to get you started and off on your way to the next designer. Now first If you are coming from my lovely friend Mary's blog then your right were we want you at :)

The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women!  We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!!  To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in.  Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images.  You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious <HERE>   So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too! 

I had a blast creating this set and the stories behind the scenes that came with them is unforgettable!!!

I baked pink cupcakes and topped with my "special pink whoop cream". Don't ask me why my kids and myself have pink teeth. It was an ugly mess but I would do it again for sure lol!

Onto the deets of the project.

I colored this time with my DI and I am featuring Tilda with Pink Rose and Boxing Tilda. You could find them available at the Magnolia-licious store NOW! 

Yup even the old school Tilda with a Rose from the Pink 2008 Collection.

I have a few Magnolia Doohickey Dies going like my Swirly Butterly and Dream Tag.

Everything is so sparkly specially when I used this all glitter pink paper. So it's more than the usual :)

Here is my Card with Boxing Tilda.....you likes? Uhhh I had to color in a pink ribbon on her shirt. Her shorts are paper pieced with that pink glitter paper I had mentioned.

Magnolia Bebe Gift present

Hi peeps!!!

Well I finally got here to share my latest. The Magnolia-licious highlities team has another challenge theme for you this time around.

Oh and guess who is the host this month.....MUA lol! and I'm late BAAAHAAA! I have a good excuse and I paid the price trust me lol! 

Too long of a story but it started with a April fool's prank and KARMA is a beep beep beeeeeeep.....

ugh! I don't think I will be doing any more of these pranks lol!!!!

put it this way I GOT THEM GUUUUUDDD (my family specially my hubbie) but my creation got ruined and I had to start my card over lmbo!!!!! ok that's all I'm saying baaahaaa!!

ANYWAYS!!!! back to the creation.

What I want to see is baby projects/or Baby gift sets

this gives us the chance to play with the latest release, Magnolia  Princes & Princesses 2012

I created a basket out of a beverage holder that I nicely requested when I went to buy myself a single cup of coffee at my local gas station LOL! I got a weird look but ack . I had seen someone walked out with one and I immediately said, UUHHHH! So anyways I altered it with pretty paper, put a sturdy cardboard base at the bottom and filled it with two baby blankets, some baby detergent and a Baby Pamolive dish soap(for baby bottles I assume)?? I guess that's new never seen it before, lol!? I laid some clothes pins around the basket that I picked up at M's for .30 a package of 4 !!!!!! I think I should get more right?!!

I'm showcasing #201 Baby Tilda on the front and #3052 Tilda w/Blue Blanket on the tag which I don't see her available now but the mini is HERE at a special price in a duo set.

This is #251 Tilda's Family and I'll be colouring this one again soon.

ABC CHALLENGE O is for.....

Morning peeps! Well it's time for another challenge at , ABC CHALLENGE.

Well the letter this time is for O for OVAL!!!!!! Now how easy peacy is that! So no excuses it's time to play with us lol! I decided to do a gift set and alter a candle.The candle was just siting there alone looking at me.Ok i was planning to redo the pictures because some came out blurry but when i woke up this morning.I realised my hubby took the set to work because i think his boss wanted to give a small gift to his GF. So i didn't have a chance to retake :(

Sorry for the blurry pictures and poor quality on the color.Brace yourself i took many pictures lol!!!!

Oh btw i sprayed the whole card and candle with Tattered Angels Irisdescent Gold. I used Tilda with Big Ribbon that i got a Diana's store,"Magnolia-licious".

NOW!!!!!!!! I wanted to share with you what my 2yo was doing while i was doing this set! I thought she was working on a project.I saw she had a coloring book,crayons,glue stick and kid scissors.I saw her sitting down with her back towards me.It looked like she was really in concentration mode.I got up and went in my room to watch something and my 5yo ,Lauren YELLS! ,"Mom sophie is cutting her hair"!! I didn't jump up because my dd is known to jump into things lol!


Well then she went to the room with a hand full of hair.I jumped up to go check on the after math. I must be very intimidating i heard her tell her older sister ,"she's going to get me"!! and literrally threw herself under my son's bed!!! I have to admit i laughed when i heard her say that.I have never heard her say those words in a complete sentence lol! I pulled her out and the front of her hair was chopped in layers.I wanted to laugh,cry and the look on her face.I knew she was sorry lol!!!!! I had to hide every single pair of scissors in the house.EVEN MINE!! SIGH...... I guess she gave herself her first hair cut.Oh yeah through out the day i kept finding more strands of hair hidding in corners of the house.I think she hid and chopped some off and went to another corner.((shaking head))

By far my 2yo has broken the record with mischievious stories of them all.The worst is at the end of the day she is sleeping next to me .Oh sweet talking and kissing me.That little girl is SOMETHING ELSE LOL!!!!!!!!Thanks for reading and hearing me vent lol!! I tend to do that now and then:)

OH OH one more thing i promise is short....
