Merry Christmas card with Puppy Love Tilda

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to my blog.
Thanksgiving was wonderful over here with lots of family and we received Happy Mail on Saturday to make it even sweeter. My daughter has been applying to colleges.... SIGH..... I KNOW!!!!
Well she has 3 top choices she's concentrating right now.
One of them responded with a fantastic humble scholarship. I mean a very generous offer. We were beyond happy and thankful but she wants to wait to hear back from the others. The other two is UCLA and University of San Diego. So very exciting and nervous at the same time around here lol!

OK on to my post :) it's a quick one too.

Today I have a card for the challenge over Magnolia-licious blog.
The theme is Doilies so easy as can be this is my take using #277 Puppy Love Tilda.
I colored her with copics
 (recipe below)

Thank you all for the wonderful comments and I'll be back tomorrow with more sharing.
Love
Ruby

Magnolia-licious Christmas blog hop

Welcome everyone to the Christmas/ winter blog hop and joining the Magnolia-licious DT is the ubber talented Scor-pal DT!!!

This is going to be so much fun!
Please read the complete details to the challenge and contest running
over the Magnolia-licious blog.
I want to make sure you get accurate deets :)

Now If you are just swinging by and want to join the hop start from the Magnolia-licious challenge blog. If your coming from the sweet talented Janice then your
are aaaa ooo kkk. I bet she had another stunning creation for us to drool.

I decided to create a box to fill with crafty goodies and layer a card front on top.
I had measurements for a smaller size box but with simply adding a few inches to the recipe I managed to create this 6x6 box.
what I did was cut a 10x10 paper for the base and score 2" on all sides. I cut and glued.
Then for the top
I cut an 8x8 paper and scored at .75" on all sides, cut and glued as well.
I added a decorative edge using the Tilda lace die and that is it. Since the top was going to be loaded there was no need to add more to the actual box.

I'm showcasing Snow scarf Tilda and she's colored with copics. I added dimension to her hat and sweater with pop up dots. Also adding some frantage, stickles and prima fine glitter to add some glitz.

Tilda is enjoying some snow fun by a
Make It Crafty Christmas background name cold by light.

I hope you like my box and I hope my assigned secret santa does too lol! Shhhhhhh

she might be around so I can't say much :P
I'm filling it with some crafty goodies that I hope she will enjoy.

Ok peeps I'm sending you to the next designer and get ready to get blown away by the gorgeous amazing Chris Dark (in my oprah voice) I can't wait to see what she's done :)

Thank you all for stopping by and please enjoy the hop but before you leave me please pick up your magical letters and they are
w,d

Sweet kisses

You Inspire me....Fight for the Cure

Hello I'm back with a new creation for the New challenge over Magnolia-licious and it's pretty simple one and I'm sure you could join us so NO EXCUSES LOL!
The theme this time is "Anything Goes"

I'm showcasing the one and only Sakura Tilda from the  Special Moments Collection.

I was hesitant in using boxing Tilda since you know she would of been perfect for
Fighting for the cure theme.
I was over joyed creating fighting for the cure creation last year and this year I didn't want to skip out in creating one specially this awareness month.
Layering up all this pink paper and just using the pink elements all over my card was just an OMG moment lol! I was melting myself. I don't know if you notice my style of cards/creations. I usually go for more bold/bright colors.  Don't get me wrong I love love love the soft creations that many of my European friends create but PFFFT I could never pull one off. I have a heavy hand you know lol! I try coloring something very soft pink and sec later it's bright pink
ha ha ha ha!
(Explains Tildas bright pink dress)
Going on with my card  my Tilda was watercolored and I used DI pads, DI markers and a single Marvy marker for her hair. Well that's my cancer awareness creation I have for you.
I'll try to make more through out the year because it shouldn't just be in Oct to practice awareness.
I hope you could join us,  it's not a hard challenge and please swing by the challenge blog to check out the rest of the DT creations. I have called Dibbs on many already tehee.

Thanks for your love and comments. Don't forget you could follow me on pinterest too.

I'll be back tomorrow for a special share :)

Have awesome day

P.S
This card is for sale if your interested please contact me and I also have the
gable box and the card I did last year for sale as well. One more thing if you see a card on my blog that you'll like to buy off me.
Please email me! I just have to make sure it's not spoken for email me at ruby6ruby@yahoo.com

The story begins with Baby Edwin

Hey guys I have a double post today. This should of gone up on Tuesday and a Wee card on Wednesday. I was just about to post them yesterday and whala....my post and all the pictures disappeared. I was not feeling well with my bad cold so I had to throw in the towel for the day.

Anywhoo this is my DT challenge for Magnolia-licious shaped card. I went with a bookmark using Baby Edwin. I watercolored with DI pens and Marvy watercoloring pens also. I cut the stars and moon with my cricut (blew a lot of dust off btw)

I'll be giving this bookmark to my new nephew coming soon sometime at the end of November.
I had a book drive at my sisters baby shower this Sunday. I wanted her to get rained with books for the baby since it's always her that makes sure all the nephews and nieces get books for their birthdays and Christmas. I can't wait to carry him eeek!!!! Her first baby ......sigh...... soooo exciting!!!!

here are some pictures of the over sized bookmark.

Ok that' s my Shaped card/bookmark. Please visit the rest of the Magnolia-licious DT for more inspiration. Sorry this post should of gone up yesterday but I'm feeling so miserable these days. The days been so cold and then raining here,YUCK!!! I have caught a bad cold.

By the way I wanted to thank you guys for all the speedy recoveries for my father. I greatly appreciate your prayers. We are very hopeful but I can't say I'm not worried. I need to color to relax my mind but I'm not sure if I could create :(

Anywhoo thanks guys for stopping by my corner and come on back for my second post : )
sweet kisses

With that said I was caught up and got lost coloring this Wee stamp name Summer Fairy one day that I was home alone.

Lots of pictures to share :)

the coloring was done using a faint line technique.

an open sentiment to your liking.
