Honey Thinks Pink for Awareness

Hi guys!
I have a little something special today for my LDRS Inspiration post.
Considering it's October breast Cancer awareness and it's the annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. I wanted to show my support through my coloring/card making creations. So today I used one of my favorite Saturated Canary Rubber Stamps (pretty much all of them are my favorite right lol)   You could find her over the LDRS store.

I colored her mainly with my copics and because I wanted a warm undertone on her hair I picked up a BG1 Spectrum Noir marker to touch that up. I don't have many T's of N's in copics and I could of certainly have used W's but the SN BG pen has this undertone that I can't seem to match with the copics. Maybe If I had more of the N's I would been able to compare but for now I used a BG1 LOL! BLAH That was a bunch of gibberish lol!sorry!

Also I should mention that I used MR digital paper Pink Rustic Cottage.
Michele has so many pretty designs you need to check her out.

I had a go on some of the Warm Fuzzies Use Your Words and spelled out H O P E right down next to honey.

here is a solo of Honey before the glitz

I just adore these clear pink crystal picks i picked up at a craft Expo.

That's it for me today. I hope I gave you some inspiration in any way. Thanks for swinging by and till next time
((hugs))

Hello Friends I'm back with Blackberry Penny Candibean

HI GUYS OH GOODNESS IT'S BEEN A WHILE!!! I think it's safe to say I'm back taking baby steps. I've been out took a little leave (long story lol) I will try my best to get back into the swing of things. I have so much to share as cardmaking goes. I might have to dedicate a single post on cards that never got shared lol! but TODAY let me concentrate on my LDRS Inspiration post.

Here is a card I did  using Blackberry Penny

I used a combination of my copics and a tad of pencils to color her up. Whilst coloring her up I would take brakes and grab another image and color that one too. At one point I had 3 images in the coloring process so I kinda mixed up the copics and I'm not certain on the combos sorry :( I promise I'll do better. Her pants or is it stockings? they are a light pinkish with white but it's picking up so white :(

Oh do you see that blue flower on top of the picture. I dabbed it with this new thing I just discovered it's really neat. It actually looks like potpourri with glitter. I'm a bit obsessed with it right now I say.

I thought adding a friendship sentiment went well with the image and so it became a friendship card.
I used one of the sentiments from the

Ok that's it from me today and I'll be back very soon but please don't forget to look out for the New Saturated Canary Rubber stamp release, Sep 1st whohoo!!!
Have a great weekend

LDRS Summer Luvin with my Bestfriend

Welcome all to the LDRS New CandiBean Summer Luvin Collection Hop!!!!
I'm glad you could join us and if you popped in to see what I've been up to well let's just say I've been coloring A LOT LOL! Few things behind the scene and so forth.

Anywhoo I'm so excited to share my creation and be part of this hop with my awesome DT sistas.
If you are coming from my lovely and talented friend Ann Marie's blog you are right on track. Also guess what we have a special guest none other than Diane Carubia the Illustrator of these adorable images. Please make sure to stop by her blog and leave some love :)

Ok let me walk you through my project and what I've done.
Firstly this frame was put together using these two cuties simply two besties enjoying summer flowers.
Their names are Jessies Summer Garden and Peekaboo.
Both colored with my Tim Distress Ink pads and Tim's markers too.

Listening to Lana Del Rey (she's my obsession lately) coloring these two has been so therapeutic and I finished it so fast I wanted to color more.

Now you see that sentiment well ya just got a sneak peek on a sentiment collection part of  an upcoming release. Oh is it so cute!

sneak peek #2 on a different sentiment :) I wanted to hang a little on this small  of flowers. It seems big but it's really a tiny brown pot carrying some Begonias.

and did you hear for all those stampers out there. Our chants and frustrations have been heard!

DO YOU SEE WHAT LDRS is doing OMG! I love it.
 Look look look....
I LOVE the idea of the stamped image that makes it so much easier to see for those that prefer to visual it in black and white or those who store their stamps in binders. Isn't it awesome!

So did I forget to mention the contest going on with the hop.

Today I invite you to the new
Saturated Canary challenge blog and the theme for this challenge is Paper piecing.

and part of her outfit was designed by

My sentiment was put together using a few of the LD sentiment sets.

I used the Fairytale sentiment stamp to create the fun border. The sentiment, the coffee mug and the frame are from the new Coffee set rubber stamp sentiments.

btw the coloring was done with Tim Holtz distress ink pads and refills.

The earmuffs, booties and bottom of her skirt has a touch of snow marker from Marvy for some texture.

I hope you could join us and please swing by the challenge blog to see what my team mates have done for more SC inspiration.

Thank you for swinging by and special hello's to my new followers :)

Any coloring suggestions are welcomed btw. I've been getting a few messages here and on FB asking me if I have coloring videos but sadly I don't have any at the moment. I do have a few step by step picture tutes if you search for tutorials on the search button on the right they should pop out. (ugh need to get my blog organize I know lol!)

I do have a new camera to record videos but what I don't have at this moment is time LOL!!!!

I have a line up of DT's and a line up of kids lol!

The thing is I also do some creations behind the scenes that don't get featured here right away.

I have CHA cards from this past summer that not all have made it on here just yet but soon will I promise.

Like I said search my marker tutorials on here meanwhile and I know I have to create one for watercoloring soon.

Thank you for following me and the time you take to visit me.
