Te Quiero Mucho

Well I'll be dam this post didn't go live!!! I had it scheduled and I guess it decided not to. I was coming over here to schedule for two future posts and just saw that my last post never did go up. Well at least it did over the LDRS Creative Inspiration blog. I've been busy behind the scenes you know holidays and actually prepping for CHA!

 Yup CHA is around the corner and the LDRS Creative DT is working hard behind the scenes. I just can't wait to share before exploding lol! Sorry peeps but I'm under oath :P

Well let me leave you with my a little creation I did using CandiBean Swinging by to say Hi Rubber stamp. I watercolored her with Distress Inks. I'm not sure if people are interested in knowing my watercoloring recipe so I never tally it but if I hear any request for it I could start keeping track.

This was a little different for me because I'm a heavy colorist but I'm trying to light color sometime too. It was so hard not adding more dept and I had to really pull away lol!
Anywhoo here is a little watercoloring fun

Adding the Spanish sentiments were the cherry on top and they go so well with the image itself.

The black stamp heart says, "siempre en mi corazon" which means Always in my heart. The top sentiment says, "Te quiero Mucho" which means I love you a lot. The whole set is so much fun to play with and guess what  IT'S ON SALE!!!!!! Go before they're all gone.

Today I'm sharing Lisbeth Winter Cuppa and she is colored with copics and pencils on kraft paper. Coloring this big polar bear was very relaxing. Trying to concentrate on his fur was very therapeutic for me.

I was over excited to use my FAVORITE LDRS sentiments from the Coffee collection and that tiny cuppa is part of the set too! Tucking in those Dewdrop border die around the image for extra depth. You might not be able to see it but those Twigs around the flowers are so sparkly, I'm so addicted to them.

Hey I'm back and I'm slacking on my postings I know.... sorry!

I might have to get stronger coffee me thinks.

 

Today I wanted to share my take on the new challenge over Make It Colourful. The theme is easy I assure you. The easy challenge is to color with browns and the "hard" is coloring in monochrome like

 SEPIA.

I used Sweet Stephanie digi and colored her with copics. You could find the coloring recipe at the bottom of the post.

This card was planned to be a Valentine's card and I actually had it taped lightly and had flowers and embellishments sketched out and everything. Well I had my sister over to pick an image for her bday card she expects every year which was on January. Well she saw this image and became hardheaded that she wanted this one and wouldn't have it any other.....ugh!!!! SO I had to start it alllllllll over and recreate a bday card lol! I really loved the result I must admit.

 

The Olivia banner comes from "Use your words"  Little Darlings Warm fuzzies sentiments and also the vintage bday sentiments  was used on the bottom base

Hello all, I have a new card to share for the new challenge over Saturated Canary and the theme is Untraditional colors. I went with pink and green with a hint of deep red. Mainly the different pink tones and green.

Merry Christmas card with Puppy Love Tilda

 

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to my blog.

Thanksgiving was wonderful over here with lots of family and we received Happy Mail on Saturday to make it even sweeter. My daughter has been applying to colleges.... SIGH..... I KNOW!!!! 

Well she has 3 top choices she's concentrating right now.

One of them responded with a fantastic humble scholarship. I mean a very generous offer. We were beyond happy and thankful but she wants to wait to hear back from the others. The other two is UCLA and University of San Diego. So very exciting and nervous at the same time around here lol!

 

OK on to my post :) it's a quick one too.

Welcome back guys and I know I've been filling you up with cards this week lol! So many things going on with my teams and we're getting ready for the Holidays, new releases and CHA creations behind the scenes as well.
Yup CHA is right around the corner and I have tons of homework!

 

Anywhoo well Saturated Canary is back with a new challenge and you guys this one is very easy for many. Who does not distress please raise your hands.

 Ok well if you don't distress could be translated as distress your paper you know rip it up a bit or how about distress coloring. You could do the watercoloring and I know it could be done with the alcohol markers too. Anyways have fun and rip something up lol! Just a little bit because I know it's hard to rip pretty paper lol!

 

This is also card number 3 for a commission order I got but I'm thinking I might have to eliminate the RoseRed card. Don't know... but It might be more than likely. I just think it didn't go with the Willow card and this one. I have another one in the works OMG I haven't started but I'm so anxious and yup another SC card lol!

 

The image I have colored today is a Saturated Canary Turtle lurv digi and I used copics on MIC blending paper. I didn't insert the coloring recipe but if you ask. I still have them aside so I could pretty much put it together ((whispering... I'm too tired aka lazy to do it now lol)

Oh ...... I'm sure I'm gonna end up adding it later. You know which reminds me if you see something colored on my blog with no recipe. If you're interested I do write them down and have piles of sticky's lol! Just a matter of going through them :P
