Happy Saturday peeps! It's time for the new challenge at Make It Colourful.
The theme this time is ,"Red for Valentine's".
I used this gorgeous Park bench from Make it crafty. This image just shouts romantic scenery or even a peaceful outing doesn't it?
My magnolias could be found at the Magnolia-licious store and they are in stock now.
IT WAS SO HARD TO SHIFT THE LIGHTING TO THE MIDDLE LOL! I had to observe for a while and to be honest I colored my Magnolias TWICE!!! because I kept messing up lol! BUT I didn't give up PHEW!
I think what helped was the bright scene in the back. When the images have their pleats in the front is hard to keep those dark you know what I mean. Well I tried my best and I'll take that :)

Now looking back I should of shaded their stockings more. I HOPE THOSE ARE STOCKINGS LOL!!!!!!!!!! OH GOSH LOL! Oh well I guess back to the drawing board.
I advise to stop by and visit what the rest of the team came up with. I guarantee you'll drop your jaw!!! I know I was like uhhhh, aweeeee and wooooow!!!!! The red groups I used are..... starting with my copics R0000, R00, R20, R22, R24, R29, R39 and Letrasets a hint of warm 9

Here is some what of a close up. I have to invest in another camera I don't get good close ups.
There were too many copics so I just took a picture and these are my warm Letrasets I used mainly for the rocks and shading.
That's it for now and I will come back on Sunday with something new((HUGS))RubyM:)

OHHHH! Ruby, EXTRAORDINAIRE! FABULEUX! MAGNIFIQUE! LOVE IS IN THE AIR... la la la!!the instant before a kiss...A moment suspended n mid air... All the romance and the love that is inspired by this scene is breathtaking... You have a way with colors, and invest them with a mission, perfectly accomplished. Time stopped when the little hesitation between 2 people falling in love occurs, a moment suspended in mid-air, and leaving room fora new born passion expressed with the red ...AHHHH in perfect dose, a real harmony. Amazingly beautiful, you made my day...
ReplyDeleteHugs. Danielle.
Well I think Danielle has caught the Ruby bug too! heehee Very nice Danielle, I couldn't have said it better myself!
ReplyDeleteRuby I think this is one of my fav's. I really like that you took on a tough idea head on and pushed yourself to get it right. And well.. it speaks for itself really. It's incredible. One of your best works so far. That's what this team and challenge is all about. Pushing ourselves to the next level. The amount you would have learned from this you will take into your next image and beyond.

WOW Ruby! This is beautiful! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that has a stack of markers to list after I've colored something. LOL I wanted to thank you for your sweet comment on my card for last weeks MIC challenge. You asked about what paper I use and It's Gina K Designs Pure Luxury. It's the only one I've ever used (I'm a Copic newbie) but I've heard really good things about a few others and may give them a try.
ReplyDeleteYou put a lot of work into this card and it shows. :-) Thanks for sharing it!
