WARNING HEAVY ON PICTURES!
Due to the shape of my egg :P exaggerating pictures were needed.

I have an Egg for you all today.

Ok I'm quite proud of my Egg let me just add.

Lets  just say it's been amazing playing with Gelatos for my very first time.
I think I'm addicted to them because Once I had a go with them it was hard putting them down.

This is my first try at this particular technique Mixed Media.

Ok so this is how it went down.

First I started with a plain paper mache egg and prepped it with my die cuts using

LDRS Creative Basics Cutting Edge Borders I, Basic Stitched Flags,Gilded Oval Die 3 Die set,Gilded Doily Die and Dew Drop Circle.

I used cuts from these dies. first painted them with Gesso glued them all around the egg.

I then used some Faber -Castell  pattern stencil and whopped some molding paste on it for the added dept around the egg.

Then came the fun part, it makes me all giddy just thinking about gelatos... Yes my first time using them and they were so AWESOME!
I used the Steam Punk set. Concentrating more on the Blackcherry and Iced Coffee.

I watercolored my Saturated Canary Rubber Stamp Eggstra Special mainly using

Faber-Castell gelatos from the steampunk set and a few parts with distress inks.

Bottom of my egg I used Gilded Doily Die

here is a closer look at the Lase I created using Cutting Edge Borders I tucked underneath the white lace.

I finalized my project with dabbing my flowers and trinkets with Faber-Castell Texture Luxe Copper

 and that's my Egg.

Thanks for joining us today!   Don't forget to subscribe to this blog and leave a comment in the FaceBook group for chance to win a nice prize pack!

Have a Beautiful Day
