Farewell Oprah Winfrey and ABC Challenge :(

Hello everyone!

What a day and how to start my waffling sigh.....

Okay let's start by letting you know it's time for a new challenge at

ABC challenge.For this week is the letter U for unusual fold.So let's see those unusual fold creations:)

I created a Gatefold card because I needed lots of extra room to decorate LOL!Now for the sad news ...........

With much sadness I have to inform you I have decided to step down from ABC Challenge.I am truly so sad but with my kids coming out of school very soon.I know it's going to be hard to squeeze cards in during the summer.I hope they will consider inviting me back as a guest later ((smiling to Vicky))

Now brings me to another reason why I created a card with Farewell Tilda.As many of you know Oprah Winfrey is leaving her show after so many many years.If you're a avid follower you'll know i'm an loyal Oprah fan LOL!!!

It's always on my top list of things too know about me when i get those blog awards :)

Anyways her final taping of her show was going to here in Chicago!!!

I'M IN CHICAGO and I thought maybe just maybe I'll get lucky with some tickets.OHHHH,I was a nervous wreck when I registered to try my luck. After a couple of days later I got an email from them.I was not picked......I was so sad and even my MIC teammies were hearing my sniffs.I was just heart broken and getting a smile from me that day was a challenge.

My teammies immediately came to my comfort and gave me loads of ideas to try getting tickets another way.They gave me hope not to give up so easy.By making her a card and letting her know how badly I want to be there.Of course thank her for all she has done for us here in Chicago lol!

I don't even care if they give or not give stuff out but just to have had the chance to be part of The Oprah Winfrey last show is just a wow!!!!!!!!!

Well guess what the taping was yesterday so I didn't get my card out on time to even try my luck :(

sigh........I went by my regular life cooking for my kids,doing errands and creating cards with this big KNOT on my throat.Here and there my eyes would get all teary but I'll be ok :(

With a little time I'm sure I'll survive.

I still have to mail out my card because It was made for her.I just don't know how to go about it???

You open it and close from the side.On the front panel i'm featuring Farewell Tilda.My sentiment says, know how special you are and how much you are loved.I followed the sketch from Suzanne Dean at Magnolia-licious Highlities challenge.

This is the inside featuring a more brighter happier scene.So basically we want Oprah to leave with Happy tears and everything will still be alright for whatever task she takes on.
The side panels are left for my writing and I also wanted to add either a poem she likes or a quote she likes to recite.Don't know what to pick yet.

Can I ask you what's been your ultimate favorite Oprah episode lol!? I have to say mine was when they went to AUSTRALIA!!!!! I got to see where my Aussie friends live teheee!!!! GORGEOUS PLACE!!! So many dreams come true that day :)

Hello friends I'M BACK!!!! Oh what a week I've been so busy so please forgive me if i haven't visited you lately.Too many blogs so little time lol!! :)

Look what i did this time!!!! A gatefold card with a scene after a scene lol!

IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER CHALLENGE AT

Make it Colourful!!

GUESS WHAT!!!!! Magnolia-licious (OUR FAVORITE MAGGIE STORE) is sponsoring us this week!!!

SO better get your color mediums ready if you want a chance to win some yummy candy! The challenge is easy all you have to do is color a background. You could do whatever your imagination takes you. Some ideas are dots,outline,chalking..... so you get the idea. I went with a dotted background behind Tilda with Peony.I stood her in front of , MIC Garden Picket fence. The clouds were done freehand with a thin waterbrush.

TADAN!!! LOL!

Oh this was alot of work but glad I'm done with it:) I must admit it was fun and relaxing. The inside i used from left to right MIC Wild flower Center, I used Rainbow Meadow and playing there are none other than Edwin with his egg basket and Tilda holding eggs in her apron. Left ,I used again MIC Wild Flower with Tilda and Newly Hatched chicken. EDITED TO ADD: Just had a quick chance to take a single picture of Tilda and Newly Hatched Chicken.

G IS FOR... at ABC CHALLENGE With Traditional Indian Tilda

Happy Wednesday everybody!!! Timing is going to fast don't you all think??? This Sunday already Halloween which means Thanksgiving is around the corner and then Christmas:O wooowwwww!!! I'm not ready to finish the year :( SIGH....... Well it's time for a new theme at ABC challenge and this fortnight is G for GLITTER!!!!!!! and i have lots of that :)Those who know me know that my photography is just BLAAHHHHH! I tried my best to get the glitter visible ,I HAVE GOLD STICKLES ALL OVER THIS CARD !!When i finished i had to put on my brace because squeezing those little bottles were hurting my hands lol! Just like they say,Pain is Beauty" LOL!!! not on me on this Maggie lol! When i saw her on for pre-order i knew i had to get her.I thought HENNA ALL OVER HER LOL!!! I have to say she was my first pick.I really wanted to keep adding more mehndi on her hands going up to her arms but had to hold myself back.The card was busy as it is but i was ok just on her feet(smiles) YOU LIKE??? I finally tried my xpress it paper and i just LOVE how the copics blend so nicely. I have found my paper :) Thank you ZOE for sending me this!! I tried the paper at CHA but really didn't get to color much because they had us coloring this little house with only 3 different color copics to play with. Any how I'm glad i did get to use it again :) Enough waffling before the tomatoes start flying i hope you could join us and please make sure to stop by and visit the rest of the team.They really did a great job taking on this challenge. MY BDAY and ANYA INK BLING IT UP

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE!!!! I have a good excuse so i think lol!! I been having computer and internet problems. I can't chat long but i just wanted to give a quick thank you to my beautiful sweet friend Cabio!!!!!! Oh my goodness Cabio you started my Bday week with a bang LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i could hug you for real i would. Thank you, very much for the sweet package I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!! I was like a little girl in Christmas lol!!! Another thing is I need to thank Mrs.Diana Crick for her sweet comments and all the lovely people that been leaving me some beautiful comments on the Magnolia-licious blog.They have posted my 2nd place winning entry, The LAND OF MAGNOLIA. I will soon post more pictures to that. In the mean while i have my DT project for ANYA INK, The challenge is BLING IT UP..... I did a gatefold card with a jewelry box. UMMM YEAH THAT'S my jewelry in there lol!!! what??? I COULD STILL LOVE HELLO KITTY BAHAAAA!!!! OK PEEPS I hope i get to catch up with my friends i miss all of you so much. Magnolia Down Under GDT Card ,Watching The Sunset

Happy Sunday hoppers!!!!!!!! Well it's time for a new challenge at MDUC .This time the challenge is,"MASKING". So with that being said i masked honey tilda sitting on the grass next to the shabby chic fence. Yeah i did try doing a sunset on the background but you tell me does it look like it????!!! LOL!!! My camera is not doing justice to the colors grrrrr!! The sunset is way brighter than what it appears to be.Don't we just hate it when the camera doesn't want to put in their part??!! Update last night i left without leaving my kuddos.I was freezing and wanted to pour me a cup of coffee.I then realised i didn't finish my post.By the way i got sick.Explains why i was so cold.UGH! Chicago weather is so crazy! Anyways i wanted to give kuddos to Lauren for sending me my honey tilda stamp!!yeah thaaaank you Lauren LOL!

My Angel Children Are Celebrating a Birthday!!

Hello and guess what i have DONE LOL!!!! Well these children wanted to party lol! Beware i'm telling you right now there are MANY pictures. I created a gate fold card inspired by Jodie .That lady is just amazing.I love her blog. I once again missed a challenge that was pink and chocolate theme . I AM ALWAYS LATE GRRR!!! Sorry Magnolia Stamp Lovers Blog!! I like that blog the ladies are so sweet there and creative. All these angel children could be found at Magnolia-licious store , Diana has excellent customer service. If you happen not to see them go ahead and email her.I swear she answers very promptly. A big shout out to her!!Oh how i adore her she's such a sweet lady. Well guess what!!!! Magnolia Down under is celebrating their FIRST birthday so i tried my best to organize the best party in town.Well COME ON IN!!!!!!!!!!!
